The Philippine Olympians Association (POA) was incorporated and formed in June 2002. We represent all the Filipinos that have competed at the Olympic Games, all of whom are automatic regular members. The POA is an independent body affiliated with the World Olympians Association (WOA). The WOA was created in 1994 and is recognized by the IOC as the representative body of over 100,000 Olympians worldwide.
To encourage and empower Filipino Olympians to uphold and promote the Olympic ideals; to inspire the Filipino youth and nation through patriotism and sports
To promote the ideals and develop the values of vision, focus, commitment, persistence, and discipline of the Olympic Movement in the Philippines
To encourage and assist its members to serve as continuing examples and models of the youth and encourage and assist their desire to participate in sports and achieve excellence
To encourage sporting contacts between members
To solicit, collate, receive, hold, invest, reinvest, distribute and disburse donations, subscriptions, gifts, bequests, and other funds for the purposes of this Association
To promote activities in the interest of members
