Arasad Alpad was a Filipino swimmer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. He was one of the two Muslims who represented the Philippines that year. He placed second in one of the qualifying heats of the 200-meter breastroke, only to falter in the semifinals by placing 6th, next to Jikirum Adjaluddin who also missed the cut. Fortunately, another Filipino, Teofilo Yldefonso managed to get into the finals and finish 7th.
