Arturo Tanaquin was a wrestler who competed in the men’s Freestyle event as a bantamweight at the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich, Germany.

At the age of 30, he competed in his first and only Olympic Games. He lost to László Klinga of Hungary in the first round and to Ivan Shavov of Bulgaria in the second round. He received eight bad points in total and got eliminated in the competition, failing to qualify for round three.
