Cesar Jayme was a shooter who competed in four Olympic Games. At the age of 30, he competed in his first Olympic Games in 1948. He placed 17th out of 71 participants overall in the 50m Small-Bore Rifle, Prone event with total points of 593. He competed in the same event in the 1952, 1956, and 1960 version of the games.
At the 1952 Summer Olympics, he placed 15th out of 58. He placed 23rd out of 44 participants at the 1956 Summer Olympics and at the 1960 Summer Olympic Games, he placed 44th out of 85 particpants.
