Benjamin Silva-Netto is a long-distance runner who was the first Filipino to run the Olympic marathon, successfully clocking two hours 56 minutes and 19 seconds in the Mexico Olympics of 1968.
By 2012, Silva-Netto became the Secretary General of the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association.
