Carlos Emilio Santos was one of the few Filipinos who represented the country in the field of archery during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany.
He competed in the men's individual category with a highest position at 47th when he played in the second round of the Olympics. He was 50th in the overall ranking with a score of 2183 points.
