Edgardo Luciano Ocampo was a basketball player who competed in the 1960, 1968, and 1972 Summer Olympics.
In the 1960 Rome Olympics, the Philippine team that he was in placed 11th. In the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics, his team was in 13th place. Before his appearance in the Olympiad, he led the Ateneo Blue Eagles to back-to-back NCAA men's basketball championships in 1957 and 1958 and became the first team captain to be called King Eagle. He had also joined the Philippine team that placed 8th at the 1959 FIBA World Championship and was a member of three Philippine teams that won the Asian Basketball Confederation championships - 1960, 1963 and 1967.
Ocampo began his coaching career with the YCO Painters in 1975 and his team won the MICAA championship that year against Manila Bank. He later coached Royal Tru-Orange (1978), Toyota (1981), Manila Beer (1985), Shell (1986-1987) and Pepsi (1990).
