Luis Ayesa was a swimmer who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics and the 1972 Summer Olympics.
At a young age of 18, Ayesa competed in the 100 meters Freestyle, 200 meters Freestyle, 4 × 100 meters Freestyle Relay, and 4 × 200 meters Freestyle Relay events in his first Olympics games.
He competed again in those same events as well as the men's 4 × 100 meters Medley Relay in the 1972 Summer Olympics where he finished 16th place.
