Leonardo Illut was a long-distance runner who competed in the marathon at the 1984 Summer Olympic GAMES in Los Angeles, California, USA.
He was a native of Cebu and started the Visayan domination when he earned a ticket to the 1984 Los Angeles Games after beating the great Ilonggo runner Jimmy De La Torre who is one of the best marathoners in the country. He wound up in 77th place with a time of 2:49:39 in the marathon at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games.
