Christine Jacob-Sandejas was a swimmer who competed in four events at the 1984 Summer Olympics. She first barged into the limelight when she won the gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 1983, earning her a slot in the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California, USA. There, she competed in the 100m and 200m Freestyle, and the 100m and 200m Backstroke events. She competed in two more SEA Games, before becoming a television host, movie actress, and sportscaster in the 1990s.
