She tied for 44th place in the women's 10m air rifle event in the 2000 Summer Olympics hosted by Sydney, Australia In December 2000, she broke the Philippine record and won a silver medal in the SEASA (Southeast Asian Shooting Association) championship, rewriting the national mark in the women’s 10m air rifle event by scoring 396 points.
