Larry Semilliano was a former boxer to represent the Philippines in the boxing competition of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He entered the men’s lightweight event with a match against Ukraine’s Andriy Kotelnyk.
Before joining the Olympics, Semilliano already had his international stint, where he won the gold in the 1997 Jakarta Southeast Asian Games. 10 years later, Larry again joined the Southeast Asian Games in 2007 held in Bangkok, Thailand.
