Benjamin Permejo Tolentino Jr. was a rower who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
At the age of 27, he participated in the men’s Single Sculls event and came in 18th place out of 24 contenders.
Tolentino has competed for the Philippines in international competitions as early as 1995. He competed in the Asian Games since the 1998 edition. He is also a sergeant of the Philippine Air Force.
