Swimmer Roxanne Ashley Yu, represented the Philippines in the Summer Youth Olympics in 2014.
Held from August 16 to 28 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, the contest was competed for by 3,578 athletes from 203 nations, with 222 events under 28 sports. Yu competed for two events, the 100-meter backstroke and the 200-meter backstroke. In 2015, Roxy bagged three bronze medals from the 2015 Southeast Asian Games hosted by Singapore.
