Kodo Nakano is a Filipino-Japanese judoka who participated in the half middleweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

At the age of 23, he was a last-minute joiner for the Olympiad, with less than a week to prepare. He was matched against Matteo Marconcini of Italy via ippon in the first round of the men’s -81 kg division at the Carioca Arena 2. His bid ended at 1 minute, 19 seconds into the match. Nakano also earlier participated in the 2013 World Judo Championship in Rio de Janeiro and the 2013 Southeast Asian Games.

He won a bronze medal at the -81 kg event at the Southeast Asia Judo Championships in Napyidaw, Myanmar.
